Ogonnelloe Hurling Club

Feile Na nGael taking place in clare on 18th 19th and 20th June, Ogonnelloe we will have a U14 Hurling and camoige Team taking part.

Ogonnelloe will be hosting a hurling and camoige club over the weekend. The visting teams will arrive on Friday and all panels will have 1 game on the Friday evening. We will then all travel to Ennis to take part in the Feile Parade further details to follow once available. On saturday each team will have two games and then we will be providing entertainment on the saturday evening for our visting teams. Any ideas would be gratefully accepted. The finals will be run of on Sunday. As more details become available we will forward to you.

Ogonnelloe Feile na nGael Camogie team 1986

At this stage all host families should have returned their vetting forms to Eamonn Lynch (Hurling Feile Officer) or Ailish Daly (camoige Feile Officer).

The President of the GAA, the camoige Association and the Handball Association along with other dignitaries and sport stars will visit primary schools throughout the county during the week beginning Monday May 17th. Again once we receive furhter details we will pass on

The draw will take place on the 21st April in Temple gate hotel at 9pm and we will get details of Groups, Divisions and visiting teams so will pass that on then.

The hurling and Camoige club set up a Feile committee Pat Gavin, Anne Orme, Eamonn Lynch, Michael Sheedy, Maura Sheedy, Ailish Daly, Donald Molloy and Eleanor Walsh to coordinate and fund raise for Feile. We have been in contact with local business to look for sponsership etc

The Feile committe held a Quiz in Rooneys and would like to thank the local community for all their support. We are hoping to organise a music night in June details to follow.

We are bag packing in Supervalue on Friday 30th April and Saturday 1st May we are looking for parents of players and anyone else who has an hour to spare to help out. Contact Anne Orme or Ailish Daly.

The Feile COUNTY committee are organising a poker classic to raise funds on Friday night April 30th. If anyone is interested please contact anyone on the Feile committee.

We will need stewarts and help with organising the field banners ets nearer the June weekend all help appreciated.
