Juniors lose out in 7 goal thriller

Ogonnelloe were unlucky not to snatch a draw in this Junior A League game, played in Clooney on Saturday the 27th of June, 2009. As the jerseys had been left at home, Ogonnelloe, playing in many different colours, got off to a disastorous start and were 2 goals behind within the first 10 minutes. However some great scoring by Patrick Mooney, John McKeana and Michael Sheedy had the half time score, 2-8 to 9 points.

Poor defending again by Ogonnelloe in the second half, led to 2 more soft goals, but Dermot Dinan was keeping the East Clare side in touch with 2 rockets of goals from 21 yard frees. However, in the end, time ran out and Clooney Quin emerged vistorious.
